From Project Inception to Completion
Quantity surveying and construction cost management is our core service. We control and manage project costs from inception to completion with integrated risk, change and value management procedures. We are able to advise on procurement and contract strategies, prepare tender documentation, administer the tender process and manage the appointment of the contractor. During the construction stage we value work completed, prepare regular financial reports, agree the cost of changes and on completion, agree the final account. At all stages, we manage and keep clients informed of the final project cost.
Turning Ideas into Reality
Our project management team is able to define the brief and develop and deliver projects. We manage and deliver projects within cost constraints, to programme and to achieve the desired quality. Our team of experienced project managers are highly skilled and lead by example, maintaining a clear understanding of the project objectives and risks. We work closely with the client, stakeholders and the delivery team.
A Safe Pair of Hands
Our safety team has considerable experience in construction health and safety. We offer construction design and management (CDM) services acting as the principal designer. We are also able to conduct construction site auditing and provide clerk of works services.
Claims and Dispute Resolution
We are able to assist with dispute resolution and are regularly called upon to provide expert witness evidence to resolve contractual disagreements. We are well versed in all forms of dispute resolution and as experts in our respective fields, we can assist with claim negotiation, mediation, adjudication, arbitration and formal Technology and Construction Court (TCC) referral of a dispute. We also work with insurance companies and loss adjusters in the evaluation and settlement of claims.
A Comprehensive Approach
In conjunction with a core quantity surveying appointment we can provide contract administration and/or employer's agent services. We are fully conversant with the JCT and NEC suites of construction contract and have many years experience of effectively establishing, managing and administering these forms of contract.
