The phased conservation and restoration of St George’s Chapel, one of the most significant heritage sites in the country. The works include cleaning and repair of stone ashlar, window tracery, parapets, flying buttresses, statues, grotesques, and painted and gilded bosses, as well as repairs to leaded lights and structural pinning of loose stonework. Carefully programmed to minimise disruption to chapel services and public tours, the project preserves the chapel’s architectural and historic significance while ensuring its long-term protection for future generations.
