Redevelopment that delivered a new learning centre with flexible education spaces, staff and volunteer facilities, a public café, and enhanced woodland, grassland, wetland, and pond habitats. Sustainable design features, including swales, porous paving, and landscape mounds, created new habitats for wildlife. Challenges included navigating contractor insolvency, complex roof design, and budget constraints. The park is now a thriving urban nature reserve and educational hub.
