Once on the English Heritage ‘at risk’ register, this Grade II listed dairy has been beautifully restored for the Landmark Trust, to create an intimate two-person retreat. Original features were sensitively revived, including limecrete floors, vaulted plaster ceilings, and slate-clad facades. Set within the grounds of Cobham Hall and surrounded by rich archaeology and wildlife, the project balanced heritage, ecology, and careful site management to bring new life to this historic building.
