CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION

In our role as contract administrator/employer’s agent we undertake the obligations of the employer as his elected representative.  This role is similar to that provided under our project management service.  The key difference is that we legally represent our client (under the Building Contract) and our responsibility is to ensure that contract obligations are satisfactorily discharged – we establish the limits of authority in this role, setting them in consultation with our clients.

We manage the selection and procurement of contractors and administer the contract in accordance with the its terms.  Often, we take on the responsibility for interfacing with project stakeholders, such as local authorities, statutory authorities, joint owners and tenants.

 

We have developed an experienced and professional team and each commission is led by a partner with expertise particular to the project.  This allows us to approach each project with confidence that we can deliver leadership, innovation and project ownership to our clients.
