PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Our chartered quantity surveyors have earned the trust of our clients over many years.  This has led to us being invited to take on the role of project manager for many important projects. 

We project manage the design and construction teams from initial concept through to the final handover.  This service has a wide brief, typically starting with the recruitment of the design team and the appointment of specialist consultants. We will manage the deliverables within the agreed timescale.  Huntley Cartwright is able to take the lead role in managing the project design process and monitoring time, cost and quality matters.  We prepare strategic schedules of risk considering all stages of the project. 

Our project management approach is to be hands-on and to manage risk.  We ensure everyone knows the objectives, is up to date with information requirements and understands where any obstructions to progress may exist.  We prioritise keeping conflict to a minimum and will explain clearly the reasons for unwelcome but necessary decisions should they arise.  We work closely with other members of the project team to obtain the best performance from each of them.

In the structure and delivery of a project we will closely follow the eight stages of the RIBA Plan of Work.
