We have completed an extensive portfolio of low to medium rise commercial projects, which include schemes of 5,000 to over 50,000 square feet. Projects have included new construction, major refurbishment and internal fitting out to Category A or Category B specifications. We have contributed to the compilation and valuation of dilapidation schedules.
30 ALAN TURING ROAD
The ongoing extensive refurbishment of the ground and first floors within this office at the Surrey Research Park.
Works included the reconfiguration of core areas with the provision of toilet and shower facilities, as well as the stripping out of M&E services. Existing radiators were refurbished and comfort cooling was installed. Curtain walling and windows were overhauled, entrance doors were replaced, the entrance canopy was demolished and a new cantilevered canopy was installed. demolition of entrance canopy and replacement with new cantilevered canopy. Extensions were made to the existing bin store to accommodate external condensers.
WINDSOR FARM SHOP
Huntley Cartwright was instructed to act as quantity surveyor on this prestigious project situated on the edge of the Home Park.
The farm shop and coffee shop were created by converting old Victorian potting sheds and constructing two new buildings.
Tishman International acquired Hayes Park and procured the refurbishment of the existing Grade II listed buildings. In addition, they commissioned a 400-space two-storey car park and a 65,000 square foot speculative office building.
Huntley Cartwright was engaged to provide quantity surveying services. The refurbishment of the external facades of the Grade II listed buildings was of particular merit.
BOROUGH MARKET HALL
Huntley Cartwright was appointed as the quantity surveyor, contract administrator and principal designer for the completion of the design and fit out of the Market Hall for Borough Market
The project comprised design, supply, manufacture, delivery and installation of WC facilities, a feature wall with shutters and sliding doors, the infill of a canopy roof, high level solar blinds, security bollards, bespoke benches, feature lighting rig and bespoke vertical garden risers.
The site comprises a three-storey office block with air conditioning and three workshop blocks. The project creates 90 separate spaces for individual companies who will take premises on a licence. The development is a high quality project and incorporates the latest technology for access, IT and telephone installations.
Huntley Cartwright was engaged to provide quantity surveying services. The procurement route was design and build. This is the first of a number of developments for Kestrel Court Managed Workspace and it was important to ensure that the employer’s requirements were prepared to permit easy amendment for future sites.

This project comprised the refurbishment of an existing office building located in the Surrey Research Park.
The works included refurbishment of the ground and first floor offices, entrance area and staircase balustrade, as well as reconfiguration of the core facilities.
